AJ2025 Gateways

Just outside the heart of Maryborough is the entrance to the 26th Australian Jamboree.

We hope you’re prepared for what you’ll see once you drive through the Jamboree gateway.

For the next 10 days, your day will be filled with fun, challenge and excitement.

Are you ready?

  • Tuan

Inspired by the nearby Tuan State Forest, this green-coloured subcamp brings a touch of local nature to the Jamboree. Tuan State Forest is just a short drive from Maryborough and is a hub for diverse Queensland flora and fauna.

If you’re based in Tuan, set yourself a goal of meeting all the other NSW Scouts near you.

  • Fraser Coast

Named after the Fraser Coast region itself, this subcamp pays honour to the beautiful coastal area and community that surrounds Maryborough. Fraser Coast is known for its pristine beaches, coastal landscapes, and proximity to Fraser Island.

If you’re Unit is in Fraser Coast, make sure you introduce yourself to the other NSW Units in the sub-camp.

  • CHEELI

Cheelii Lagoon, named after the rare Cheel’s paperbark (Melaleuca cheelii), lends its name to the orange subcamp. This local plant is unique to the area, and Cheeli represents the region’s biodiversity.

Make sure you meet your Cheeli neighbours, especially the other NSW Scouts in your subcamp.
